It is best to store your tree in a tree bag or the original box. Flocked trees are best stored in a temperature controlled environment to prevent the flocking from turning yellow (Not in your attic). All other Christmas trees (Green not flocked) should be stored in the coolest place possible. If you are not storing your tree in a climate controlled area cooler basements, garages or storage rooms would be much better than a hot attic.
